Amit Karandikar
Amit is a software architect at Apple and loves to work on integrating new technology and experiences. He is in the process of getting a Master's degreee in Data Science from Berkeley by August 2022, and hopes to apply his learnings at work and in other areas of interest. Amit's hope is that tools like CropEconomics will help farmers around the world make choices that will help them make agriculture and farming practices more sustainable in the coming years.Outside of work and school, Amit loves to trek, bicycle and enjoy time with family.
Audrey Lei
Audrey Lei is a Data Scientist at Boeing, where she develops alerting and prognostics solutions to support global airline customers. Previously, Audrey was a technology consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing her Master's in Data Science at UC Berkeley, graduating August 2022. Outside of work and school, Audrey enjoys exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants and traveling with family & friends.
Daniel Ryu
Daniel Ryu is a data scientist and a lifelong learner, with an execution mindset. Currently he works at Evernote, a software subscription company. Previously, he spent several years in the mobile advertising industry before transitioning to Evernote. Daniel plans to complete his Master’s degree in Data Science in August 2022. During his program, he focused on Machine Learning topics, including ML engineering at scale and computer vision. Outside of the data world, Daniel also enjoys listening to jazz and experimenting in the kitchen.
Da-Qi Ren
Da-Qi Ren is a senior principal engineer in AI chip design working with a team at a two year old start up company named Zeku in Silicon Valley. He has decade of successful experience in research and development and management. After almost 2 years of study in UC Berkeley, he is expected to graduate in August 2022. Da-Qi enjoys good music but can also be found on long bike rides on hilly roads.
Madeline Whitlow
Madeline Whitlow is a Data Scientist at Twitch. She’s previously held positions at BuzzFeed and GumGum. She is passionate about uncovering insights with data and helping the world understand and learn more through data practices. She has been a Masters student at UC Berkeley studying data science since January 2021 and plans to graduate in August of 2022. She is passionate about data science and baking.
